This Christmas season, GREEN HAS ITALIA has chosen to support CISV (Community, Commitment, Service, Volunteering – www.cisvto.org) by contributing to the project “Agroecology and Good Nutrition for Families in Mali”. The initiative aims to assist the most vulnerable groups and communities, by strengthening their resilience and improving food and nutritional security. To achieve this, the project promotes agroecological practices, nutritional education, and the development of local systems for vegetable production and water management.
In practical terms, our contribution will help rehabilitate land for the cultivation of vegetables and cereals, ensuring stable production. The gardens will be equipped with wells for water access, irrigation systems powered by solar panels, and proper fencing.
These interventions will make it possible to expand cultivated areas, enhance production capacity, and create new income opportunities for farmers, while ensuring that village communities have access to healthy, high-quality food. This is a concrete step toward supporting local development and combating malnutrition.
