Temperature drops and late frosts are a major concern for fruit growers. To provide concrete support in dealing with these challenges, Greenhas offers a targeted line of intervention aimed at increasing crop resistance to temperature drops and promoting recovery.
Preventive applications
Greenhas’s preventive approach uses a dual-action intervention that increases the plant’s ability to tolerate stress caused by temperature drops and frost and raising the concentration of solutes inside the cells in order to lower the cryoscopic point of the cytosol they contain.
For this purpose, Greenhas Group recommends applying Eranthis and Calfomyth (or Oligogreen in organic farming).
24–48 hours before the temperature drop
Eranthis 200 ml/hl + Calfomyth 350 ml/hl

Eranthis 200 ml/hl + Oligogreen 150 ml/hl (organic farming)
Eranthis is a CE-certified biostimulant that induces a priming effect in plants, helping to counteract and mitigate the negative effects of climate-related stress.
Calfomyth is a CE-certified liquid fertilizer from the Mineral-Tech line containing phosphorus and calcium, in synergy with boron and nitrogen. The phosphorus in Calfomyth is available in a form that can be absorbed even at low temperatures, thereby increasing the concentration of solutes within the tissues and thus lowering the cryoscopic point of the cytosol. Calcium, on the other hand, helps stabilize cell membranes and strengthen cell walls, making them more resistant to frost damage.
Oligogreen is a highly soluble CE-certified water-soluble fertilizer based on micronutrients. When applied at budbreak, it not only reduces frost damage but also serves as a useful source f balanced chelated microelements to stimulate flowering, pollen fertility, and subsequent fruit set.
Post-Stress Recovery Applications
In the event of low-temperature stress or frost damage, it is essential to apply targeted products to promote the rapid recovery of compromised tissues, reactivate the plant’s metabolism, and reduce the period of post-stress vegetative block.
In this situation, Greenhas Group recommends applying Greit VG mixed with Magic P, or, in organic farming, Algaren Twin mixed with Magnesiogreen Attivato.

Algaren Twin is a CE-certified organic fertilizer with amino acids and vitamins derived from its exclusive formulation, composed of a balanced blend of brown algae (Ecklonia maxima) and selected yeasts.
Magic P is a CE-certified liquid fertilizer from the Mineral-Tech line, containing phosphorus and magnesium, essential nutrients for rapid restoration of plant functionality.
Magnesiogreen Attivato is a CE-certified water-soluble fertilizer based on magnesium and sulfur, nutrients that are useful for reactivating photosynthesis and protein synthesis.
