Vivema Twin is the Greenhas CE plant biostimulant allowed in organic farming, designed to promote root system development in compliance with the European Fertilizers Regulation (2019/1009/EU). This non-microbial plant biostimulant was developed to help farmers address the ongoing challenges caused by the climate crisis.
High temperatures, water scarcity, and intense solar radiation, increasingly frequent during the summer months and often persisting into late autumn, can compromise the proper allocation and accumulation of reserve substances in the root system of fruit crops, leading to a slow vegetative re-start in the following spring.
In vegetable crops, on the other hand, post-transplant establishment may be negatively affected by returns of cold in spring, the depletion of organic matter, and soil fatigue.
When applied to soil, Vivema Twin supports root growth and/or the regeneration of the root hair system, even under abiotic stress conditions. Additionally, it exerts a prebiotic action, promoting the development, interaction, and resilience of soil microbial communities, thereby enhancing soil fertility.
Vivema Twin effectiveness in mitigating these stress factors and supporting root growth is due to its unique composition of a balanced blend of selected polyphenols.
To be effective Vivema Twin has to be applied during periods of active root growth as only during these phases the plant is able to absorb the biochemical signal provided by the product:
- Annual crops (vegetables in open field and greenhouse, aromatic and medicinal plants, ornamentals, strawberries): 3-5 applications from post-transplanting, every 10-20 days.
- Perennial crops (fruit trees, ongoing CE label extension): 2 applications from vegetative restart to flowering and 2 applications post-harvest.
The application rate is between 6 and 8 l/ha, with a minimum annual rate of 30 l/ha. In case of severe stress, increase the dose up to 10 l/ha, with a total annual dose of 50 l/ha.
Vivema Twin can be applied via fertigation or by sprinkler, at any water volume.
Due to its unique characteristics, Vivema Twin is part of the Greenhas’ product portfolio branded “Climate Change”, a selection of products specifically developed to help farmers mitigate the negative effects of the climate crisis on agricultural crops.
